BNSF Industrial Products: Independence Day 2025 Operating Plan

This year, the Independence Day holiday falls on Friday, July 4. Train service will not be curtailed due to the holiday; however, BNSF plans to minimize the number of yard, local and road-switch assignments at terminals on Friday, July 4, consistent with customer activity and volume demand. Connecting carriers who have reduced operations for the holiday may cause delays on interline traffic.

For interactive tracing 365 days a year, please use BNSF’s Tracing web tool by logging into the BNSF Customer Portal with your username and password and selecting the Trace tab on the Home page.
